The Desolation is an overstable midrange (though nothing like a Frag) which is comfortable in the hand with a deep enough rim for great grip and release. It will always fade at the end of flight to help navigate around the smashed buildings and burnt-out cars of the not-too-distant future. 

Biohard plastic from Doomsday Discs is a mostly translucent premium blend with a lot of flexibility and good grip. It's a gummier option than most premium discs on the market, and it comes with the same dirty, splotchy look as Toxic Waste, having been through the cataclysmic production process of the apocalpyse.
